COVID-19 Travel Guide

We’re so excited to have you celebrate with us!  In order for us to all be able to celebrate together, we want to make sure everyone is healthy!  To help out, we ask that everyone provide a negative test for COVID-19 upon arriving in Chicago that is at least 24 hours old (i.e. taken while in Chicago).  We also ask that if you test positive that you not attend, even if you are asymptomatic.  Even though it might be inconvenient for you, there are some guests who have weak immune systems who need everyone to test negative.  Thank you for understanding and helping ensure that everyone has an amazing time at our wedding!  To help you out, we’ve outlined some best practices for traveling in this COVID world.  We hope that most of this is old news for you, but we want to give out best practice anyways.

If you’re flying into Chicago, we ask that you mask up in the airport as airports often are COVID hotspots.  Double masking is preferred, especially in O’Hare

If you’re riding the El or taking an Uber or even spending time in enclosed spaces inside (which you probably will be because it’s Chicago in January), we recommend masking to reduce the likelihood of exposure

Finally, while you may have a bunch of tests that were distributed earlier in the year, if you don’t have access to those, here are a bunch of places you can get a test if you don’t have one available.
